Blessed Are You: The Beatitudes of Jesus in Scripture and in Life

A Kerygma study that exams the Old Testament roots and context of the Beatitudes and explores the contemporary implications of these powerful words You will discover fresh understanding and insights to enrich your faith. (This course will be March 10.)

Parables: Stories for Life in God’s World

A Kerygma study Jesus was the master of the parable! Deceptively simple, these timeless stories were used by Jesus to bring new life to old ways. We’ll study Jesus’ parables and together we’ll discover God's truth for today's dilemmas. This course begins April 07. Sunday Morning

New Testament Study: Romans

Starting Sunday, September 20th, between the services. We will be starting a year long study of Romans using William Barclay's study guide. Our class always has an open door - feel free to drop in and participate in the discussion - guests are always welcome. Facilitated by Terry & Nancy Shatto.

New Member's Class

A class for persons interested in church membership. Classes meet with Pastor Matt. Contact the church office for the next class time.

Men's Bible Study

Men, join us Thursday mornings at 6:00am in Baugh Auditorium for a light breakfast, fellowship, bible study, discussion and prayer.

Women's Bible Study

Women's Bible Study will be held monthly on the second Thursday of each month (Sept-May). The 11:00am group will be held in various homes, and the 6:30 pm group is held at OPC, beginning October 8. In the nine lessons of Joshua: A Journey of Faith, Mary Mikhael invites us to explore the challenging, sometimes heartrending, book of Joshua. Pursuing such themes as leadership, the promise of land, the concept of “holy war,” and outsiders becoming insiders, we learn ultimately to find rest in the justice and mercy of God. The women’s Bible Study continues the 2nd Thursday of the month through June, 2010.

Study books available for $6.00 at the first meeting or from Stephanie Ahlgren. All women are welcome. Please join us!
